Malahide Family Fun Day

July 23rd- 12pm - 5pm - FREE

This incredible Family Fun Day, set to unfold over Sunday 23rd of July is one of my favourite times of the year. Town’s around Ireland host summer festivals each year and I love seeing how much joy it brings to people to see the fun and delight of all the townspeople.

Get ready for an unforgettable weekend filled with music, food, and fun as the festival gives back to the amazing people of Malahide!

There will be plenty of fun for people of all ages with Face Painting, Live music, Carnival Rides, Balloon Art and much more on the way!

The festival will sprawl throughout the the Green & New St, so I would definitely recommend getting the Dart or Train to Malahide as parking in the village will be next to impossible.

Skerries Wild Bee Festival

July 22nd & 23rd - 7.30pm - Skerries Mills - Free

I for one, am absolutely terrified of Bees, Wasps and most things that buzz. However when I did go to Bloom this year and passed the bee society I learned a lot more than to be afraid of the honey bees. Fingal County Council have announced that the Skerries Wild Bee Festival is returning for 2023.

The Wild Bee Festival is more family-friendly for 2023 with face painting and lots of nature themed crafts and activities for children. The event is a collaboration between Fingal County Council and Charlie and Marion Heasman from Sustainable Skerries.
